Bulletin 26/2/2017

Summary:

National has a BlueGreens conference, with plenty of photos on Twitter but few policy announcements – the swimmable rivers earlier got debunked pretty hard.  Labour’s Jacinda Ardern wins the Mt Albert by-election by a landslide – it was uncontested by Naitonal, but it was probably good practice for their campaign staff.  National, Labour and Greens all well represented at the Auckland Pride Festival, demonstrating cross-party support for LGBT+ people, at least nominally.  Party conferences and preparation work for election campaigning going on in the background, but rarely discussed on Twitter.
