Bulletin 12/4/2017

Summary:

Labour pokes Bill English on housing during parliament question time, and English still has no good answer – he’s aware that this will be a major election issue, right?  Labour follows up with a policy announcement to build houses on Housing New Zealand land.  The Greens attempt to connect the dots between extreme weather events with climate change and the government inaction on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.  The National twitter feed is filled with announcements for where new police will go – National clearly consider police numbers to be a major component of their platform.
