Bulletin 8/7/2017

Summary:

After the Supreme Court denied as illegal the government’s attempt to trade away conservation land so a dam can be built on it, Bill English suggested that a law change may be coming – both Labour and the Greens criticise this as both attempting to destroy conservation land, and also attempting to override the judiciary.  The campaigning is ramping up, with speeches and debates and door-knocking.
